DESCRIPTION:Mental Health Partnerships Presents: The CPS Certification Training is a 75-hour hybrid training fully authorized by the PA Certification Board (PCB). The class is delivered live (in-person) during the first week\, and Online via Zoom the second week. \nThe training provides foundational knowledge\, skills and values that equip individuals to work as Peer Supporters in the state of Pennsylvania. This training costs $1400\, Funding available through Allegheny County. \nThe CPS Certification Training includes the following topics: \nThe history of Recovery and Peer Support\nRecovery Values\nWRAP Seminar I\nCPS Core Competencies\nOutreach and Engagement\nStages of Change\nIntroduction to Motivational Interviewing\nEthics and Boundaries\nDocumentation\nMental Models / Ladder of Inference\nDiversity and Worldview\nSupport for Transitions\nCredentialing and Job Search \nSuccessful completion of this training requires consistent attendance\, full participation in activities and assignments\, as well as satisfactory scores on two weekly tests. DESCRIPTION:HeadsUp Presents: Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) Week. \nThe HeadsUp Annual Pennsylvania Early Psychosis Conference offers professionals and practitioners educational opportunities in early psychosis treatment and services. Through an intensive overview of early psychosis and Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC)\, it offers an opportunity to strengthen skill sets\, share best practices with colleagues\, and implement new strategies\, research and trends into practice. This year’s conference will highlight important treatment aspects including evidence-based clinical treatment integration options\, substance use\, cultural sensitivity\, ethical concerns\, engagement\, psychopharmacology\, and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) for providers of First Episode Psychosis (FEP) care. \n\n\nThrough our robust learning program\, and together with our thought leaders\, we remain committed to: \n\nPromoting the development of innovative and responsive services in Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) programs.\nImproving the overall quality of services delivered and increasing the competencies of clinicians and CSC team members.\nAssisting organizations and practitioners with the vision\, knowledge\, and skills needed to shape emerging and existing CSC teams\, as well as support our mission.\nEducating and increasing the competencies of clinicians on the use of Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R)\, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)\, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).\nEnhancing understanding and supporting the use of research obtained from the CSC teams and participants.\n\n  \n\n\nREGISTER HERE.
