Certified Peer Specialist Training

Mental Health Partnerships Presents: Certification Training is a 75-hour training, delivered live (in-person) over 10 training days. The training provides foundational knowledge, skills and values that equip individuals to work as Peer Supporters in the state of Pennsylvania. A CPS is willing to self-identify as having a serious behavioral health disorder (mental and/or addiction illness ). A CPS supports others in their recovery process, builds mutual trust, shares experiences, learns about the recovery process, and moves toward a more meaningful life in the community.
