UMD Presents: For behavioral health professionals who are not trained clinicians, translating clinical jargon into real-usable language fosters better engagement with consumers and supports consumers in advocating for their needs. Person-Centered language is part of our efforts to reduce the impact of different types of stigma on consumers and their access to services and supports.
*Please note – Due to this content being a required area of expertise for trained clinicians (LCPCs, LCSWs, PhDs etc.) CEUs are not available for this training. We will provide Certificates of Attendance (COAs) for all participants.
