Beyond The Video Series: Assessment, Comorbidity, and Autism in Youth at Clinical High-Risk for Psychosis

Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services Presents: This 1.5-hour office hours session accompanies the recorded trainings on administering the Mini-SIPS, comorbidity among youth at clinical high risk (CHR) for psychosis, and the intersections between autism and CHR. The session will be structured as a brief framing lecture followed by office hours Q&A and discussion. Dr. Schiffman will field participant questions, facilitate practice-based discussion of assessment and differential considerations, and share supplemental resources to support application of these topics in real-world clinical settings.

Learning Objectives:
Describe attenuated / sub-threshold symptoms
typically assessed to determine psychosis-risk
status using the Mini-SIPS.
Identify common comorbid conditions associated
with clinical high-risk (CHR) for psychosis.
Apply assessment and clinical conceptualization
strategies relevant to treatment planning for
youth at CHR-P.
